Had I not gone to art college I would have studied English. I love telling stories through my pictures and enjoy finding the perfect materials to support and give character to a narrative. I always wanted to illustrate and, following the birth of my daughter, 12 years after her siblings, I rolled up at Random House and they gave me the entire series of The Little Swan Ballet books to illustrate – I was hooked!
