Wild Flowers at Morn Hill

The wild flowers at the top of Morn Hill were so amazing one year that I persuaded a friend to come along and paint them with me. I took six 20×20 canvas boards and painted them all. This was the only one I kept, because in a small space I had managed to get a sense of place and scale as well as the gorgeous mass of flowers, without getting distracted by detail. When I got back home this little painting took me straight back there, and for once, I was pleased with my days work!
