This was really a study in garlic. We had come across an ocean of wild garlic in a wood nearby – and, being spring, of course the blue bells were out, and my rosemary had tiny pale flowers on its prickly stems, and there were some creamy bulbs of garlic in the fruit bowl…all we needed was a leg of lamb!
