During my time as Artist in Residence at Trinity Laban Centre of Dance, I had the most wonderful experiences of watching the dancers rehearse endlessly and trying to capture a sense of the particular movement that they were practising together. Individual figures leap and fall at different stages of the same routine but the circle was never broken, like a wheel in perpetual motion, an image that I found both comforting and disturbing.
