The Little Swan Series

Working on this six book series was my first foray into the world of illustrating children’s books and, with a young daughter myself, it was a challenge that I particularly relished. I completely immersed myself into the world of child ballet and became a familiar figure sketching small children in their classes with my daughter – I also used friends as models for the characters – ‘Louisa’ lived next door!

I have kept a large collection of most of the drawings that were used and lots of the supporting sketches are for sale.
